🗺️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Phong Nha → Khe Sanh (210 km – 6 hrs riding)
After meeting your Easy Rider guide at your hotel, we gear up and head deep into the lush jungles of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our ride follows jungle roads once used during the Vietnam War by North Vietnamese soldiers en route to Laos.
After lunch, we cruise along the western branch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, famous for its remote beauty, dense forests, and minority villages. You’ll pass isolated communities, winding mountain passes, and surreal landscapes.
Arrive in Khe Sanh, the site of a former U.S. Marine base and battlefield during the Tet Offensive. Overnight at a local hotel.
Day 2: Khe Sanh → Hue (190 km – 6 hrs riding)
In the morning, visit the Khe Sanh Combat Base, Ta Con Airstrip, and the War Museum. Then descend eastward toward the coast, stopping at the Hien Luong Bridge and 17th Parallel—the former boundary between North and South Vietnam.
Explore the haunting Vinh Moc Tunnels, where villagers lived underground to survive intense bombing. In the afternoon, we ride along the tranquil Tam Giang Lagoon, eventually reaching Hue, the former imperial capital. Overnight in Hue by the Perfume River.
Day 3: Hue → Hoi An (175 km – 5 hrs riding)
Today’s ride is packed with coastal beauty and mountain passes. Ride backroads to small fishing villages, then stop to relax at Elephant Springs, where natural pools offer a refreshing dip.
We then conquer the legendary Hai Van Pass, where the road snakes between jungle-covered mountains and panoramic ocean cliffs—one of the most scenic rides in all of Vietnam.
We continue south, visiting Marble Mountain, and optionally Tra Que Vegetable Village, before rolling into the ancient lantern town of Hoi An by late afternoon. Tour ends at the hotel of your choice.
