🗺️ Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Da Lat → Cat Tien National Park (B, L)
- Morning: Our driver and tour guide pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Cat Tien National Park. On the way, we visit Pongour waterfall know as the largest falls in Dalat with majestic landscape of volcanic cliffs, white water and green jungle. Stop by coffee plantation to see the plants of one among the most popular drinks in the world, our guides will share you knowledge of coffee.
- Afternoon: We cross Dong Nai River by boat to the Cat Tien National Park that enables visitors begin their wildlife experience. Start walking 5 km along the ecologic route under the canopy of the jungle. Both sides of the trail are rare trees: Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (Bang Lang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), Cycas tumphii (Thien Tue), Ancistrolandus Tectorius (Trung Quan), and Afzelia cyclocarpa (Go). Heading back to the center of the National Park for dinner.
- 19:00. Transfer by jeep to Ta Lai buffer zone for animal spotting (watch animals at night). The night safari is great to discover the nocturnal wildlife in the nature reserve
Day 2: Cat Tien National Park→ Mui Ne (B, L)
- Morning: Transferred by jeep inside the park to junction, where we turn off the main route for 10 km trekking to Crocodile lake station. During the hiking in the primeval forest, you will have a break and take pictures beside the ancient trees thousands of years old. Sometimes, you will startle with the appearance of monkeys and gibbons moving on the tree or watching the beautiful feathers of precious birds. Relax at the lakeside watching tower, if lucky we can see Gaurs, Green Peafowl by Crocodile Lake, Bronze – winged Jacana, Lesser Adjutant and Purple Heron, Red and Black and Banded Broadbill, Orange – breasted Trogon and Pale – headed Woodpecker…. Then back to the center for check out.
- Afternoon:
- Visit rubber trees plantation
- Visit the “katkatim tribe” special tribe found in this area characterized by people and small houses
- Drive down to the coastal plain as the landscape begins to change and the weather warms
- Stop to visit the the amazing Lotus Pond and learn about this amazing flower
- Drive to Mui Ne through beautiful views of rice fields that create a perfect picture with the Dragon Fruits fields.
- Arrive to Mui Ne and drive to visit the Red Dunes
- Drive to the hotel and stop for perfect sunset on the fishing boats pier
- Overnight at your resort in Mui Ne
