🗺️ Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Ha Giang → Dong Van (150 km – 5 hrs riding)
We kick off from your hotel in Ha Giang at 8:30 AM, heading through peaceful Tay hill tribe villages. Learn about local life as you cruise rural backroads. Ride through Bac Sum Pass, stopping at the breathtaking Heaven Gate for panoramic views of Twin Mountains and Tam Son Town.
After lunch in Yen Minh, we ride the winding Tham Ma and Chin Khoanh (9-turn) Passes—perfect for thrill-seekers. The afternoon ride cuts through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, featuring jagged limestone peaks and colorful ethnic communities. Visit the historic H’mong King’s Palace, then check in at your hotel in Dong Van.
Day 2: Dong Van → Lung Cu Flag Tower → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Meo Vac (140 km – 5 hrs riding)
After breakfast, ride north to Lung Cu, where you’ll climb the iconic Flag Tower at Vietnam’s northernmost point—only 2km from the China border. The view stretches endlessly into two countries!
The ride continues on to Vietnam’s most jaw-dropping road: the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Perched on cliffs high above the Nho Que River, it’s hailed as one of the most spectacular mountain passes in the world.
You’ll cruise into Meo Vac, a rugged little town nestled deep in the stone plateau, where you’ll stay the night.
Day 3: Meo Vac → Ha Giang (150 km – 5 hrs riding)
The final day begins with a breathtaking ride through barren limestone valleys and jagged karst peaks. This road is nearly untouched by tourists, offering pure immersion into local mountain life. Pass isolated hamlets, roadside markets, and rocky highlands that test even seasoned riders.
We descend through twisting mountain roads and wide rock valleys, returning to Ha Giang by late afternoon. You can relax at your hotel, or we’ll help arrange a night bus to Hanoi if needed.
