Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon to Long Hai Beach (140 km – 6 hrs)
Ride out of bustling Ho Chi Minh City and cruise into the countryside. Visit rubber plantations, Minh Dam Army Base, and Binh Chau Hot Springs. Enjoy sunset along the peaceful Long Hai coast.
Day 2: Long Hai to Mui Ne (150 km – 4 hrs)
Follow scenic coastal roads to Ke Ga Lighthouse. Explore Van Thuy Tu Whale Temple and ancient Champa Towers before arriving at the beaches of Mui Ne.
Day 3: Mui Ne to Bao Loc (160 km – 5 hrs)
Visit Fairy Springs, Red Canyon, and the famous White Sand Dunes. Ride past dragon fruit farms and ascend to the Central Highlands. Stop at a K’Ho ethnic village before overnighting in Bao Loc.
Day 4: Bao Loc to Dalat (140 km – 4.5 hrs)
Experience tea plantations, Elephant and Pongour waterfalls, and local silk and mushroom farms. Try Weasel Coffee before reaching Dalat, the “City of Eternal Spring.”
Day 5: Dalat to Lak Lake (165 km – 5 hrs)
Sightsee Dalat’s top spots: Crazy House, Flower Market, Railway Station. Ride through the hills to Lak Lake via chopstick factories and coffee plantations. Optional homestay in a traditional Long House.
Day 6: Lak to Cu Jut (130 km – 4 hrs)
Explore Jun Village and trek up Elephant Rock Mountain. Swim at Dray Sap Waterfall and enjoy a BBQ dinner with local highlanders in a Long House.
Day 7: Cu Jut to Chu Se (180 km – 7 hrs)
Travel the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. Pass remote farming villages and learn about traditional rice noodle and rice paper making. Overnight in the quiet town of Chu Se.
Day 8: Chu Se to Kon Tum (150 km – 6 hrs)
Ride to Sea Lake in Pleiku, visit Kon Tum Prison and Wooden Church, and spend time at Vinh Son Orphanage. Explore Kon K’tu Village and the traditions of the Bana ethnic group.
Day 9: Kon Tum to Kham Duc (160 km – 6 hrs)
Cruise mountain roads to visit Phoenix Airport, Charlie Hill, and learn about various ethnic groups (Ch’ru, Ede, Bana). Overnight in the remote highland town of Kham Duc.
Day 10: Kham Duc to Hoi An (140 km – 5 hrs)
Start the day at the Kham Duc Market, then ride to My Son Sanctuary – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End your journey in the ancient town of Hoi An by late afternoon.
