Day 1 – Hanoi → Mai Chau
Ride through bustling Hanoi, visit Hoa Binh Dam and conquer Thung Khe Pass. Arrive in Mai Chau valley and stay with Thai ethnic locals in a stilt house.
Day 2 – Mai Chau → Ninh Binh
Ride through peaceful country roads. Visit Ho Dynasty Citadel, Fish Springs, and Fairy Cave. Enjoy scenic rice fields and limestone mountains.
Day 3 – Ninh Binh → Thanh Hoa
Take a boat tour through Tam Coc – Bich Dong, visit Cuc Phuong National Park and Bai Dinh Temple. Arrive in Thanh Hoa for the night.
Day 4 – Thanh Hoa → Vinh
Travel along the Ma River to Ho Chi Minh’s hometown in Sen Village. Discover mat-weaving villages before reaching coastal Vinh.
Day 5 – Vinh → Ky Anh
Explore Dong Loc Junction, Nguyen Du Monument, and Huong Tich Pagoda. End the day in Ky Anh town.
Day 6 – Ky Anh → Phong Nha
Pass through Ngang Pass and salt farms to reach UNESCO-listed Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.
Day 7 – Explore Phong Nha
Visit Paradise Cave, explore Phong Nha Cave by boat, and experience the adventurous Dark Cave (optional).
Day 8 – Phong Nha → Khe Sanh
Ride the western branch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail through thick jungle and isolated ethnic villages. Overnight in Khe Sanh.
Day 9 – Khe Sanh → Hue
Visit Khe Sanh Combat Base, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Hien Luong Bridge, and ride along Tam Giang Lagoon to Hue.
Day 10 – Hue → Hoi An
Cruise past Lang Co Beach and climb Hai Van Pass. Visit Marble Mountains and Tra Que Village before arriving in Hoi An.
Day 11 – Hoi An → Kham Duc
Explore My Son Holyland and ride through incense-making villages. Ride deep into the forest along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Day 12 – Kham Duc → Kon Tum
Visit Charlie Hill, Phoenix Airstrip, Dak To battlefield. Explore mountain scenery and stay in Kon Tum.
Day 13 – Kon Tum → Chu Se
Visit Kon Tum Wooden Church, orphanage, and traditional Bahnar village. Ride to Sea Lake and stay by Chu Se Lake.
Day 14 – Chu Se → Dray Sap Waterfall
Continue on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, visit Ede villages, and swim in Dray Sap Waterfall. Overnight in jungle long house.
Day 15 – Dray Sap → Lak Lake
Trek Elephant Rock Mountain, learn about coffee and noodle-making. Ride past rice fields to Lak Lake.
Day 16 – Lak → Dalat
Ride rugged mountain roads to Dalat. Visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery and enjoy pine forests and cool climate.
Day 17 – Dalat → Bao Loc
Sightsee Dalat: Crazy House, Railway Station, Elephant & Pongour Waterfalls. Descend to the tea-growing region of Bao Loc.
Day 18 – Bao Loc → Mui Ne
Visit Da Mi Hydro Dam, cashew farms, and ethnic K’ho village. Ride to Mui Ne and explore the White Sand Dunes and Fairy Stream.
Day 19 – Mui Ne → Long Hai
Visit fishing markets, Cham Towers, and dragon fruit farms. Walk along Ke Ga Lighthouse and visit Minh Dam Base.
Day 20 – Long Hai → Saigon
Enjoy a scenic ride past Ho Coc Beach and Binh Chau Hot Springs. Cross the Saigon River by ferry and arrive in HCMC by 4PM.
